A full-length fiction novel with character arcs and chapter structure. Here’s the story idea and world: I want a vampire story with the main character to be a vampire and she’s being. I want the world to have pure blood vampires who are born vampires from two pure blood vampires. And then half blood where one parent is at least pure blood and then turned vampires that were human and turned into a vampire. And vampire doing have the same feelings and emotions. I saw a Reddit post and one comment was very good and enlightening. I’ll put in the Reddit post and the comment: A question for the writers here. I’ve wondering how vampires being born vampires in a story’s lore would affect the kinds of stories you can tell. For example, I don’t think vampires who are born that would would grapple with questions concerning their humanity, considering they never had any. They’ve not had the struggle of adjusting to a drastic new way of life since they’ve always been that way. The gothic feeling but still kinda modern. It’s set in a vampire world, there’s humans as well but vampires rule and humans are subjugated and used as pets, slaves, Labour and food (their blood). Her master who turned her is very abusive, violent, evil and cruel. Both physically and mentally. And very powerful and old and has big influence and power in their society. Since it’s a vampire society he doesn’t have to hide his cruelty or have a facade of being composed. She’s not the only one in her situation and he’s not the only cruel vampire. It’s a normal thing. He turned her to be his subject, it’s done in a different way than normally done. She’s still a vampire the same but she has a bond to him. Vampires usually live in covens, one vampire lord controlling one big are and reporting to the vampire royal family. There are humans bred to be pets to the vampires, they’re often mistreated and often get killed. They’re kept on leashes and in cages and are used as blood bags. Yeah they’re human pets and a vampire can do whatever they want to the pets they buy. Som keep them purely for their blood as that’s the primary source for fresh blood but some have them as more. She’s basically his doll. Vampires are very hierarchical and violent in nature. It’s the same as in lot of countries today that are hierarchical and built on violence and dominance. And like in animals. The top of the hierarchy rule and control the vampires below them with violence to establish dominance. To note there are humans villages where humans live “freely” they’re usually villages where the humans work in factories or other labour jobs. But they’re not owned by anyone. Yeah. Some vampires choose to actively bee good vampires. And others don’t. Vampires have the same amount of feelings but they don’t feel them the same way or as intensely and some don’t even feel all of them. Like guilt, they have a very small conscious regarding others feelings or non vampire feelings. It’s a large spectrum. But their bottom line is when a vampire has strong feelings like guilt or consciousness or compassion and empathy it’s actively been learned and they’ve put effort into it. A vampire doesn’t naturally have empathy in the same way humans do. And when human becomes a vampire it goes away and they don’t feel their feelings and emotions the same as before. Born vampires never go through the transition. The main character has been a vampire for a few hundred years maybe around 200. He liked her for her beauty which only made her more beautiful as the transitioned. Vampires are beautiful creatures and they don’t grow old. He is a very beautiful vampire. Old vampires lore states that if a vampire, if strong enough, who has just turned a human only feeds them they own blood through the transition will get a loyal vampire and that they’ll share a strong bond. And it’s true. That’s what he did to her. Instead of giving her human blood during her transition he only gave her his own, that created the bond and he became her master. If a vampire isn’t strong/powerful enough the vampire being turned will die or become a regular vampire. She’s very afraid of him. He’s physically hurt her in ways a human would never survive. He likes the physical torment a lot more than the psychological. He likes ruling using fear. Let’s give him a name and her as well. I’m thinking she was turned at 20 so she looks 20. And he stopped aging at like 30. Female born vampires stop aging when their bods biology hits roughly 25 years old and a mans when it matures to roughly 30.
